Our main current project is in western Ukraine – The Valley. It is in progress these days and its main target is to bring sustainable economic development to a mountain valley of four villages. In addition we are helping to develop sustainable ecological programs for saving water, forest, fishery and wildlife resources in the region. Our Valley Project, which began 3 years ago with extensive research and planning, will help bring sustainable jobs and a real hope of a better future for a beautiful but forgotten mountain valley in western Ukraine. The project has slowed somewhat do to the economy now, but it is moving forward. The villagers have not given up hope and we support their view. We see 2011 year with the start of many positive changes in the villager’s lives and their children’s future as we expect government approval of our project.
