In order to make children’s studying more interesting, the school program more efficient and modernized, we picked few schools in Odessa, Feodosia, Simferopil and Dnipropetrovsk to implement our Kids to Kids project. The idea of this project from the technical side was to provide the computer equipment for schools, where the computer science has been taught just through the books. We’ve also got the internet connection for the class rooms, so that students as well as the teachers could have the access to the World Wide Web. And since we’ve got to the young pupils the internet, we implemented some interesting English educating programs, which allowed the children to find other English-speaking students all over the world, to make new friendships, to get to know more about other cultures and expand their horizons, having new pen-friends. We also arranged some English classes, which gave the pupils an opportunity to hear and learn from the native English -speaker. The project was really successful, school teachers and pupils appreciated new experience, new technologies and very unusual, interesting and useful way of learning foreign language a lot.
